Kurast Undercity rewards a clear plan more than raw speed. In Diablo 4 Season 14, Death Awakening, this Vessel of Hatred dungeon asks you to make useful decisions before the portal opens and stay flexible once the clock starts. If you are chasing a new build, the right D4 items can matter, but your choices inside the run usually decide how much loot you actually take home.

Set Your Loot Goals Before Entering

The Spirit Brazier is where the run really begins. A Tribute sets the general direction of the reward pool and can point your run towards runes, charms, mythic equipment, or other gear. It also affects the challenge level, so do not pick the hardest option simply because it sounds generous. Your clear speed matters. A slower run can lose more value than it gains.

Bargains let you fine-tune that choice with Obols. You might focus on Ritual Runes, Invocation Runes, or a useful gear group such as Offensive, Defensive, Utility, Mobility, or Resource Legendaries. More Weapons is another practical option for builds that still need a better main hand or off-hand. I usually match the Tribute to one clear goal, then use a Bargain to remove as much unwanted loot as possible.

Build Attunement While the Clock Runs

Inside the district, do not sprint straight towards the boss. The Reward Upgrades bar is the real objective during the early part of the run. Look for beacon symbols, activate them, and deal with the enemy waves they create. Afflicted Monsters deserve attention because they push Attunement forward faster than ordinary packs. You will soon notice that a route with several beacons often pays better than a direct path.

Check the map before committing to a long corridor.
Light beacons when nearby enemy groups can be cleared quickly.
Collect hourglass symbols before the timer becomes uncomfortable.
Keep enough movement skill charges for the trip back to the boss.

Turn Extra Encounters Into Better Payouts

Time extensions are not optional luxuries on a strong farming route. They give you room to clear another beacon, search a side passage, or recover after a rough fight. Portal Pranksters can also appear during the run. Take them down when the route allows it, since their defeat adds completion chests and can make one successful trip much more profitable. The best approach is not reckless rushing. It is steady movement, quick target selection, and knowing when a detour is worth the seconds.

Make Each Run Fit Your Character

Kurast Undercity works well because it lets players shape the activity around current needs. A fresh character may value general equipment, while an established build might want runes or one narrow legendary category. Keep your Tribute, Bargain, and route working towards the same purpose. When your supplies or crafting plans fall short, you can also buy Diablo IV Gold for extra support without losing sight of the dungeon strategy that makes every run worthwhile.
